Bhupendra Narayan Mandal was a renowned freedom fighter, social reformer, saintly personality, and one of the most respected socialist leaders of India. He dedicated his life to the upliftment of the poor, backward classes, and underprivileged sections of society. His ideology was deeply rooted in equality, social justice, education, and human values. In honor of his remarkable contribution to society and education, Bhupendra Narayan Mandal Vanijya Mahavidyalaya was established in 1976 at Sahugarh, Madhepura. The institution carries forward his vision of empowering society through education and creating opportunities for rural and economically weaker students. The founder’s philosophy emphasized that education is the strongest tool for social transformation. Inspired by his ideals, the college continues to work toward inclusive education, moral development, and academic excellence for all students irrespective of their social or economic background.
